Public Philosophy
I’ve been involved with a variety of public-facing philosophy projects through my work with the Centre for Philosophy and Art. A particular favourite was working on the CPA short film and event series Art and the Emotions in collaboration with the National Gallery, which included shooting several mini documentaries exploring the connection between pieces from the gallery’s collection and themes from aesthetics. You can watch them here. I also helped organise and facilitate the A Brush with Philosophy event series at KCL, which saw members of the public enter into dialogue with philosophers whilst an artist captured their discussion. More on that here. I’ve also given some public facing philosophy talks in collaboration with the National Gallery and The Institute of Psychoanalysis.
